Description: The massive city of Moenjodaro was entirely constructed of unbaked brick in the 3rd millennium B.C., the ruins of which now lie in the Indus valley. Providing indication of an early system of town planning is the acropolis, placed on elevated embankments, the ramparts, as well as the lower town, which is arranged in line with strict rules. --WHMNet paraphrase from the description at WHC Site, where additional information is available.
