| Description: | The 100,000 ha Rwenzori Mountains National Park in western Uganda encompasses the core part of the Rwenzori mountain chain, which contains Africa's third highest peak, the 5,109 m Mount Margherita. This is one of Africa's most beautiful alpine areas, with its waterfalls and lakes.
